Your phone generates a scrambled ID of its own. It's not your name, your number or your SIM — just a random token that means nothing outside the app.
That ID is what stops a poll being stuffed. Each phone counts once per poll, so results reflect people — not whoever shouts loudest.
On location polls we turn your GPS into a ward, municipality and province, then throw the coordinates away. Your area is recorded. Your address never is.
